For Community Partners

Welcome!

In an effort to thoughtfully engage and support the Newport News community, CNU invites local agencies and organizations to develop service relationships with our students and faculty through Service Learning Courses, Volunteer CNU and our annual Volunteer Fair.

Each semester new agencies and organizations are added to our SERVICE DATABASE, which our students search to find service opportunities.  To submit your request for volunteers, please complete the first online form below, labeled "Community Partner Registration Form".  Staff from the Center for Service Learning and Social Entrepreneurship will contact you with any additional questions and to inform you of the request status.

We appreciate and value what you do and hope to continue building meaningful relationships for the betterment of our community!

Thoughts from a Community Partner

The Center for Service Learning was instrumental in allowing us to expand the depth and scope of our "Kids Involved in Community Kindness" program.  The CNU Student Volunteers were able to connect with our young people in a way that adults could not.
