Christopher Newport University is partnering with the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula to help fight hunger in our area through the Food for Thought Food Drive on November 4th, 2009 from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  The food drive (collection of cans and cash) will take place at the Ferguson Center for the Arts Colonnade and Harris Teeter.

How to help

CNU Students, Faculty, and Staff: Initiate and participate in food collection right where you work, study, and live.

Students: Check with RA's to learn about Hall Competitions; challenge your student organizations to collect food.

Faculty and Staff: Inquire as to who might be coordinating donations in your department.

 Through the purchase of bulk goods, the Foodbank is able to buy $10 worth of food for every $1.00 donated.  Consider giving cash to make your donation go farther.
